The first restaurant of the Happy Bar & Grill chain was opened in Varna, the sea pearl of Bulgaria, on Christmas Eve – 24 December 1994. The place was named Happy Moryashki Bar. Embraced by the local people, soon enough, on 06 July 1995 it was followed by the second start-up, Happy Orbita thus launching the largest and fast-growing chain of daily restaurants in the country. Nowadays, the company manages and develops 23 Happy restaurants in Bulgaria, two more in Barcelona, Spain and our newest location in London, UK. Our restaurants are set in the largest towns of Bulgaria, boasting top locations, or are top spots on the national road map.

All products used in Happy are of the highest quality and always fresh! We never use semi-finished products, each dish is prepared on site from fresh ingredients. There are no freezers or warehouses in Happy restaurants. Fresh products are delivered every day, which are used up to 99% of the day.

From 2018, the company launches a new strategy, which offers every three months a thematic menu, presenting iconic and interesting dishes from another country - France, Greece, Italy, Bulgaria. Each season, themed menus return with new offerings. The undisputed favorite among the seasonal menus is the Strawberry, which adheres to the specifics of the strawberry fruit, which is the universal favorite fruit of all people in the world - 99% of people around the world indicate strawberry as their favorite fruit.From 2019, Happy introduces a new concept for seasonal menus - Around the World trip, which includes, every 4 months there is a special new menu dedicated to a culinary destination - France, Greece, Bulgaria, and from February 2020 Happy Italy begins.
